WHAT IS THE STORY OF THE GREAT PYRAMID OF GIZA?
In addition to our knowledge, the Great Pyramid of Giza is also known as the Pyramid of Khufu and the Pyramid of Cheops and it is the oldest and the largest pyramid in Giza. Since 2005, the Great Pyramid of Giza listed as one of the seven wonders of the world until now. It is also the tallest man-made structure of the world. It is covered by casing stones that formed a smooth outer surface; what is seen today is the underlying core structure.
As you can see, the pyramid in the middle is the Great Pyramid of Giza. It is the largest among the three pyramid in Egypt. There are three chambers of this pyramid. First chamber or the lowest chamber is cut into the bedrock upon which the pyramid was built and was unfinished. Next is the higher chamber which is called the Queen's Chamber and King's Chamber.
That is how you can enter the Great Pyramid of Giza. Through this picture, you can have an idea on how to get inside of the pyramid. As you can see there, it shows on how you can go the the different chamber of this pyramid. You can see the Queen's Chamber and King's Chamber and also the Chamber in rock which is th lowest chamber of the pyramid.
As you can see, there is an arrow pointing on the entrance going to the lowest chamber, the chamber in rock. After the lowest chamber your going to the Queens chamber then to the air shaft and to the Kings chamber. Just follow the directions so that you can go to the top of the pyramid.

Reminders, only one person can go through the passage as you can see, it the passage is so little and only one person at a time can pass. You also need to bring flash light so that you can see the way and you should watch your step so that you can go to your destination safety.

The Beauty Of Cebu
As we all know, Cebu is one of the historical places of the Philippines. There you can see the memorable and unforgettable moments of Lapu-lapu and Magellan. There you can see their statues and different images that’s reminds us of their fight on how Lapu-lapu defeat Magellan.

Cebu Island is one of the provinces in the Philippines. On the survey, It is one of the most developed provinces in the Philippines. The Condé Nast Traveler Magazine named Cebu as the 7th best island destination in the Indian Ocean-Asia in 2007 and the 8th best Asian-Pacific island destination in 2005 and 7th in 2004 and 2009.
The Cities of Cebu Island:
The capital City of Cebu Island is the Cebu City. This is the oldest city in the Philippines. The next City of Cebu island is Danao City followed by Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City and Talisay City.

Like what I’ve said, Cebu City is the capital City of Cebu Island. In Cebu City, you can find the Taoist temple, cathedral of Cebu, Basilica Minore del Santo Niño, Lapu-Lapu Monument, Magellan Marker and the beautiful beaches.

This is the Taoist Temple, one of the favorite and famous place in Cebu City. You will lose your breath when you reach the top because of the long ladder but every step is worthy because of the beautiful view of Cebu. At the top, you can see the whole view of Cebu. There you can see their wishing statue and also the big statue of dragon and the Buddha which symbolizes of the Chinese beliefs and religions. You can enter there without entrance fee.

As you can see on the picture at the right side, you can see how solemn and sacred this place. On the left side is the front of the church. The cathedral of Cebu City. One of the most and number one catholic church of the people in Cebu. They love to go there and pray because this is the old church of Cebu. This is a historical church in Cebu and the big church in Cebu.

This church is one of the church that you can see in Cebu City. Like the cathedral, this is also one of the favorite church of the Cebuano.
The Sinulog festival. People in Cebu celebrates the sinulog festival every month of January. They will paint their body in black color also to the guests. They do this every year as their celebration and thanks giving.
The Monument of Cebu which symbolizes their braveness and freedom. This is the memories of the Spanish time.

What a beautiful place. This is only one example of the beautiful beaches in Cebu City. As you can see, it has also white sands like the beaches of Camiguin. Boracay, Palawan and bohol. Cebu City is also blessed to have beaches like this because not all provinces of Philippines can have it.
This is the Katibawasan Falls, the falls that you can found in Cebu. You can swim there if you want, as long as you know how to swim.
The Skywalk of Cebu which is the number favorite of the tourists and the people in Cebu City. Hold your breath because you will walk in the sky.
The Statue of Lapu-Lapu which symbolizes his love on his country and to his fellow Filipino. He fought Magellan and defeat him. These picture are only the proof of his braveness and not only the picture but also the statue of Lapu-Lapu.

The 2nd busiest Airport in the Philippine next to NAIA. It is also one of the cargo airports of the Philippines. It is also a major trade center in the south for both domestic and international traffic.

WHAT IS THE STORY OF BOHOL IN THE PHILIPPINES?
What is Bohol? And what can we found in Bohol? What makes Bohol as one of the wonders of the world? Those are the questions that we encountered in our class in history.
Last June 5-6, 2010, our company went to Bohol as our summer outing. I was so excited that time because it was my dream to have tour in Bohol. I was so happy because it was a dream come true and I am so thankful to our company because my dream came true. When we heard from our friends, family or relatives the word Bohol, we can imagine the Tarsier, the Chocolate Hills, the Floating Restaurant and many more.
What is Bohol?
Bohol is one of the provinces of the Philippines. It is located at Central Visayas. It is also one of the most tourist spot in our country. It is also the TENTH largest island in the Philippines. It consist 75 minor surrounding islands. The capital city of Bohol is the Tagbilaran City. It has 4,117.26 square kilometers and a costline of 261 kilometers long. It is the home province of our 8th president or our former president Pres. Carlos P. Garcia who was born in Talibon, Bohol on (1957-1961).
As we can sse on the map, the northeast of Bohol is the island of Leyte and the west is the island of Cebu.
What can we found in Bohol?
What can we found in Bohol are the beautiful places like Chocolate hills, The floating restaurant, Beautiful beaches, Tarsier, the Man Made Forest, the Hinagdanan Cave, the Statue of Sandugo Shrine, the different rides like Plunge and Prony one of the biggest ang longest snake of the Philippines.

One of my favorite in Bohol. The Floating restaurant can be found in the Loboc river. There you can eat all that you can only for 400 pesos. In the middle, you can watch a presentations of the Boholanian. They danceing, singing and paying a guitar. In the boat, there is also an entertainment like band. Indeed, you will enjoy every seconds spending on the floating restaurant. The food are so delicious. The views are so beautiful. You can see the children and other foreigners swimming on the river. It was a great experience ever in Bohol.

There you can see a bat hiding on this cave. You can also swim there if you want. The water is cold and refreshing.

As you can see in my picture, the hanging bridge is made up of bamboo. That time is raining and the bridge is so slippery because it was made up of bamboo. There are two hanging bridge there. I've enjoy a lot in hanging bridge.

These are the examples of the rides in Danao, Bohol. I can still remember their sayings that
" your'e not paying for the rides, you're paying for the experience..."
and i agree because it was a great experience ever.

Tarsier is small but it has a big eyes which can see clearly with a very nice vision.What makes Tarsiers' cute is their eyes.

On our way to Hanging bridge, we drop by in the Man Made Forest. Amazing because the trees are so high and you can't say that it was only a man made forest. It was so cold here and it feels like you were in Baguio. One of the nice place in Bohol.

HOW OLD IS THE STATUE COLOSSUS OF RHODES?
" In my research about the Colossus of Rhodes, I found out that It is also one of the Wonders of the Ancient World. "
The Statue of Colossus of Rhodes was made and constructed to celebrate Rhodes' victory over the ruler of Cyprus who unsuccessfully besieged Rhodes in 305 BC. Before its destruction, the Colossus of Rhodes stood over 30 meters (107 ft) high, which makes it as one of the tallest statues of the ancient world. It took twelve years to build it.

That is the back view of the Statue of Colossus of Rhodes. Originally, Colossus stood over 2,000 years ago at the Islands of Rhodes. It is located off of the southwestern tip is Asia Minor, where the Aegean Sea meets the Mediterranean Sea.
It was first spelled as "Colossos" but then changed it to "Colossus." Colossus was posed in a traditional Greek manner: nude, wearing a spiky crown, with his eyes shaded from the bright sun with his right hand while holding a cloak over his left hand. and a torch on his right hand. Let's see on the front view of the picture.

In addition, the statue of Colossus of Rhodes is look like the Statue of Liberty because of the Modern Statue of Colossus. Their similarity is they bought symbolizes the freedom or it is the celebration of freedom. Colossus stood shining in the sun for 56 years. Sadly, an earthquake hit Rhodes, and the statue collapsed. Huge pieces lay in the harbor for a long time. An Egyptian king decided to pay for reconstruction, but the people of Rhodes refused. They had feared that somehow, they had offended Helios who had used the earthquake to tear it down. Out of all of the wonders, Colossus was the one that stood the least amount of time. It stood for only 56 years, but in brief time won fame throughout the entire civilized world. Now you can see the new and modern statue of Colossus.
It is also a historical statue of Rhodes. That makes the statue meaningful. This is also one of the famous man kind statue.With its incredible history and classic Greek profile, Colossus of Rhodes is one of mankind’s greatest achievements, inspiring artists and architects to build higher, farther and bigger. Like Colossus reaching for the sky, mankind is unlimited only to its imagination. We can imagine wider as we want and as long as we didn't harm anybody.

WHO MADE THE STATUE OF ZEUS AT OLYMPIA?
Where can we find the Statue of Zeus?
When we see the picture of the Statue of Zeus, the first question that comes in our mind is where can we find this statue? We ask that because we would like to see it in real and take a picture as a souvenir. Well, we can find the Statue of Zeus at Olympia in Greece. It was made by the Greek sculptor Phidias. It is the famous artistic work the world. That is the reason why it belongs to the wonders of the Ancient World.

In Greek mythology, Zeus is the father of Gods and men. He is also the Gods of the sky, and thunder and the Kings of the Gods. He is the youngest son of Cronus and Rhea and ruled the Olympians of Mount Olympus. He is the father of Aphrodite by Dione. Aphrodite is the Goddess of love, beauty and sexuality. Although he has a daughter to Dione which is Aphrodite, Zeus real wife and married to Hera which is the Goddess of women and marriage. She's a sister of Zeus. Their children are Ares, Hebe and Hephaestus.

In our class is English literature, we discuss the Greek Mythology. There we Discovered the different Gods and Goddesses like Zeus and Hera. Like what I have said, Hera is the legal wife of Zeus and the mother of the three Children. Hera was known for the jealous and vengeful nature on Zeus lovers' and offspring. She is also the Goddess of marriage and women.

If you can see, on the right hand of Zeus is a figure of Victory made form ivory and gold. And on his left hand is the eagle perched on the scepter inlaid with all metals and his sandals was made up of golds like his robe.

WHAT IS THE BEAUTY THAT WE CAN SEE INSIDE OF THE HANGING GARDENS OF BABYLON?
When you heard the word garden, what comes from your mind first?
When I heard the word garden, I can imagine a beautiful flowers with different kinds, different kinds of plants and butterflies. Well, those are only an examples of what you can see inside the garden. There's a lot of things that you can see inside the garden. Now lets see and tour one of the wonders of the ancient world named Hanging Gardens of Babylon.
What can we see inside the Hanging Garden of Babylon?
When we enter the Hanging Garden of Babylon, we can see the beautiful nature and creation of our beloved God. Inside the walls were fortresses and temples containing immense statues of solid gold.You can see their the different kinds of flowers and a pond. it looks like a paradise inside and outside. I can say that this is the best place to make a romantic proposal to your love ones. The place is so romantic and refreshing. Refreshing because of the flowers in the surroundings.
Before we look deeper the Hanging Garden of Babylon, let's discover and find out the history of this place.
What is the Hanging Garden of Babylon?
The Hanging Garden of Babylon is one of the original place lists in the wonders of the ancient world. The people of Babylon sometimes called it the Hanging Gardens of Semiramis in reference to the legendary Queen Semiramis. It was built during the time of king Nebuchadnezzar II because his homesick wife Amytis of Media who longed and missed her homeland that looks like a garden because of the trees and fragrant plants. Because of the several earthquakes, this garden was destroyed after the 2nd century BC. But the Babylonian rebuilt it because of their love to their kings.

The Babylonian were so proud and thankful because their Hanging Garden is in the Wonders of the Ancient World. They didn't built the Hanging Garden just to be in one of the wonders of the Ancient world but because of the wife of the King Nebuchadnezzar II who love gardens.
