WHAT IS THE STORY OF BOHOL IN THE PHILIPPINES?

What is Bohol? And what can we found in Bohol? What makes Bohol as one of the wonders of the world? Those are the questions that we encountered in our class in history.

Last June 5-6, 2010, our company went to Bohol as our summer outing. I was so excited that time because it was my dream to have tour in Bohol. I was so happy because it was a dream come true and I am so thankful to our company because my dream came true. When we heard from our friends, family or relatives the word Bohol, we can imagine the Tarsier, the Chocolate Hills, the Floating Restaurant and many more.

What is Bohol?

Bohol is one of the provinces of the Philippines. It is located at Central Visayas. It is also one of the most tourist spot in our country. It is also the TENTH largest island in the Philippines. It consist 75 minor surrounding islands. The capital city of Bohol is the Tagbilaran City. It has 4,117.26 square kilometers and a costline of 261 kilometers long. It is the home province of our 8th president or our former president Pres. Carlos P. Garcia who was born in Talibon, Bohol on (1957-1961).

As we can sse on the map, the northeast of Bohol is the island of Leyte and the west is the island of Cebu.

What can we found in Bohol?

What can we found in Bohol are the beautiful places like Chocolate hills, The floating restaurant, Beautiful beaches, Tarsier, the Man Made Forest, the Hinagdanan Cave, the Statue of Sandugo Shrine, the different rides like Plunge and Prony one of the biggest ang longest snake of the Philippines.

Here are the pictures:

The Floating Restaurant
The Loboc river
One of my favorite in Bohol. The Floating restaurant can be found in the Loboc river. There you can eat all that you can only for 400 pesos. In the middle, you can watch a presentations of the Boholanian. They danceing, singing and paying a guitar. In the boat, there is also an entertainment like band. Indeed, you will enjoy every seconds spending on the floating restaurant. The food are so delicious. The views are so beautiful. You can see the children and other foreigners swimming on the river. It was a great experience ever in Bohol.

The Hinagdanan Cave

There you can see a bat hiding on this cave. You can also swim there if you want. The water is cold and refreshing.

Hanging Bridge
As you can see in my picture, the hanging bridge is made up of bamboo. That time is raining and the bridge is so slippery because it was made up of bamboo. There are two hanging bridge there. I've enjoy a lot in hanging bridge.

The Plunge
The Zip-line
These are the examples of the rides in Danao, Bohol. I can still remember their sayings that

" your'e not paying for the rides, you're paying for the experience..."
and i agree because it was a great experience ever.

Tarsier is small but it has a big eyes which can see clearly with a very nice vision. What makes Tarsiers' cute is their eyes.

The Man Made Forest
On our way to Hanging bridge, we drop by in the Man Made Forest. Amazing because the trees are so high and you can't say that it was only a man made forest. It was so cold here and it feels like you were in Baguio. One of the nice place in Bohol.

The Sandugo Statue

This is the Sandugo Statue. There you can see the memorable moments of Bohol. When you were there, you can see the ocean and you can see the worth of this statue to all the people of Bohol.

The Panglao Beach
Panglao beach
The Panglao beach is one of the favorite beach and resort of the guests. You can celebrate your birthday part there or your wedding and anniversaries.
